Mike Johnson, Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s The FAMiLY Leader Summit, bringing one of the nation’s most prominent conservative leaders to Iowa for a gathering focused on faith, family, freedom, and the future of the country.
This year’s summit, which will be held on Friday, July 17, at the Iowa Events Center, has become one of the nation’s premier forums for conservative thought leaders, elected officials, grassroots activists, and people of faith to discuss the issues shaping America and the values that continue to guide the nation.
“Speaker Johnson is a principled leader who has consistently defended faith, family, freedom and the Constitution,” said Bob Vander Plaats, president and CEO of The FAMiLY Leader. “At a time when Americans are searching for courageous leadership and moral clarity, Speaker Johnson has emerged as a thoughtful and steadfast voice for the foundational values that make our nation strong. We are honored to welcome him to Iowa and to this year’s summit.”
Since becoming Speaker of the House, Johnson has emerged as one of the most influential voices in Washington, advocating for fiscal responsibility, religious liberty, the sanctity of life, secure borders and policies aimed at strengthening American families and communities.
“Across Iowa and throughout the country, people are hungry for leadership grounded in conviction, humility and service,” Vander Plaats said. “Speaker Johnson’s story, leadership and commitment to principle reflect the kind of leadership many Americans are hoping to see more of in public life.”
The FAMiLY Leadership Summit is the Midwest’s premier event for Christians committed to transforming culture through God’s design for the family, church, government, and more. Each year, the summit features nationally recognized speakers, policy discussions, grassroots networking opportunities, and conversations centered on the cultural and political challenges facing the nation. Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, which works to end abortion by electing national leaders and advocating for laws that save lives, is a cornerstone sponsor of the event. Newsmax, a national cable news channel, is also an event sponsor.
Additional speakers and program details will be announced in the coming weeks. For more information about the summit, visit The FAMiLY Leader.
