The Board of Directors of the Bedford Community School held an ice cream and cake social on May 22 to honor retiring staff members Kenny Weed and Greg Sleep and to recognize staff members for their dedicated years of service to the district.
Those recognized for 5 years of service were Dana Churchill, Taylor Cox, Jacob Kinghorn, Carmelita Lock, Bill Nook, Amanda Powell, Derek Powell, Denise Rankin and Amanda Spencer; 10 years, Salena Matheny, Erin McLaughlin, Clint Powell, Jeff Russell, Beth Schrodt and Kim Stockwell; 15 years, Tanner Peterman, Peggy Roed and Jennifer Tribolet; 20 years, Jamie Mogler and Bill Ruttenberg; 25 years, Deb Bonde and Jennifer Burn.
Kenny Weed retires after 27 years and Greg Sleeps retires after 23 years.
