A Coralville woman has been charged with violating a no-contact order.

Just after 5:30pm Saturday, 33-year-old Rena Rocqumore of Holiday Road was seen walking through a backyard on the 2000 block of Taylor Street with the victim of their active no-contact order.

The incident that led to the no-contact order occurred December 1st. Rocqumore allegedly broke into an unoccupied unit at Iowa City’s Town and Campus Apartments on Arthur Street. A resident said that Rocqumore had no permission to enter, and she then threatened to assault the resident. The woman fled to her bedroom, and Rocqumore reportedly kicked and damaged the bedroom door and threw a glass pan to the ground before leaving.

When police arrested Rocqumore Saturday, a post-arrest search reportedly turned up a pipe used to smoke narcotics.

She was cited with violating the no-contact order, and charged for possession of drug paraphernalia. IF convicted on the misdemeanor, she could face a jail sentence of up to 30 days.
