Now that Memorial Day weekend is here, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is reminding local residents that the 2026 Coralville Lake and Lake Macbride visitor guide is now available.
This year, the front cover of the guide showcases photos from 1949 to 1963 to celebrate 250 years of the United States. The photos were taken to document planning, construction, and completion of the Coralville Lake Dam.

A post on the official Coralville Lake web site indicates the Sugar Bottom Campground is scheduled to open on June 1st, pending construction and maintenance completion.
