     The Bedford Bulldogs will be represented at the state track meet this week when they compete at the Blue Oval. Junior Quentin Dalton qualified with a first place finish in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.83 (24th best time from districts), 55.70 in the 400m hurdles (6th best time from districts) and was part of the first place shuttle hurdle relay team that finished first in a time of 1:01.68 with Kase Coleman, Kayden Fletcher and Hayden Riedel running the other legs with Dalton (the shuttle hurdles enters with the 6th best time from districts). Senior Coleman will also showcase his skills in the long jump where he won the district meet with a jump of 20-11 (11th best distance from districts). On Friday, Dalton learned he had also earned a spot in the 4X100 with teammates Ashton Nally, Riedel and Fletcher after their time of 44.93 was the 21st best time in the state from districts. Sophomore Kaleb Johnson also earned a spot in the 800m after placing second with a PR time of 2:02.12 which was the 8th best time from district meets. Freshman Jeffry Knighton finished in second place with a jump of 6-01 and was the 19th best height from districts. Senior Eli Johnson qualified in four wheelchair events, the 800m with a time of 2:34.50, the 400m 1:07.83, the 200m in 35.27 and the 100m in a time of 19.87.
