A Tiffin man was arrested over the weekend after he allegedly assaulted his long time partner.
Police say Sunday afternoon, 31-year-old Christian Gomez’s partner started a verbal argument about the amount of time it took him to return from a liquor store run. Gomez allegedly struck the woman in the forehead, causing a laceration.
Three of Gomez’ children were present at the time of the alleged assault.
He was taken into custody and charged with Domestic Abuse Assault causing injury and three counts of Child Endangerment. If convicted on all counts, Gomez faces a prison sentence of up to seven years.
A no-contact order was requested between the two parties and granted by Judge Jason Burns.
