DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has updated information regarding the following hazardous winter weather. There will be accumulating snow and frigid cold temperatures. The heaviest snow is expected from northwest into central and southwestern Iowa. Cold will impact much of Iowa. Snow will begin between 3 and 6 AM Saturday and depart east around midday Saturday. Temperatures will be coldest Saturday night into Sunday morning.
