Changes are coming to 210th Street in Scott County that take effect later this month.
The Scott County Secondary Roads Department says the intersection of 210th Street and Jersey Ridge Road will be converted to an all-way stop, effective October 24. The intersection is only controlled by a stop sign on Jersey Ridge Road. The department recommended the change after an engineering and traffic study.
As of October 24, the speed limit on 210th Street, between Scott Park Road and 550 feet east of Jersey Ridge Road, will be 45 mph. This section of the street currently has a statutory speed limit of 55 mph. Following an engineering and traffic study, the Scott County Secondary Roads Department recommended this reduction after an engineering and traffic study.
