A Radcliffe woman was arrested in Waukee Saturday after she allegedly assaulted a Waukee man in the home.
Makinzie Ann Hinkel-Valley, 21, of 12634 200th St., Radcliffe, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury or mental illness.
The incident began about 6:30 a.m. Saturday at a residence in the 200 block of N.E. Dartmoor Drive, where officers of the Waukee Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.
The officers made contact with the victim, who told the officers he allegedly “was punched in the face with a closed fist several times, busting open his mouth in two places,” according to court records.
Officers observed on the victim “a purple, circular mark on his bicep that looked to be a bite mark” and “red scratches on the back of his neck,” according to court records.
“I beat the fuck out of him,” Hinkel-Valley told officers of the Waukee Police Department when they made contact with her at a West Des Moines motel. “Yeah, I lost my shit. I hit him in the face a few times. I don’t regret it. I didn’t do anything wrong,” according to court records.
Hinkel-Valley was held in the Dallas County Jail on a $1,000 cash or surety bond. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Oct. 29 in Dallas County District Court.
