The grant given to Her Voice Media came from The Circle of Healing, a group dedicated to uplifting the Black community. The grant is usually awarded to organizations that make an impact on marginalized communities.
Jasmine Babers-Gunn, the founder of Her Voice Media, which began as Love Girls Magazine, says she’s honored to get this award. The grant will allow Her Voice Media to expand its fellowship program, giving girls interested in media-related fields opportunities for experience.
