At least two separate incidents happened about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday on the Centennial Bridge.
One was on the bridge above Modern Woodmen Park.
Our Quad Cities News crew saw emergency responders use the Jaws of Life to cut one person out of a car who then was transported from the scene in an ambulance.
Farther north down the bridge, a car – with its entire front wheel assembly missing – faced the wrong way.
At the Davenport base of the bridge our crew saw what appeared to be another crash. Emergency responders remained on the scene at 9 p.m. Fire trucks, ambulances, and police officers were on the scene.
