ORANGE CITY, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — Orange City, Iowa, has a new city administrator. Matt Van Schouwen was given the position and will begin his new role next month.
Currently, Van Schouwen is the director of public works in Orange City, a position that he has held for nearly six years.
As director of public works, he has overseen various community projects and infrastructure improvements.
Those on the hiring committee said that his experience and relationships within Orange City will help him as he transitions into the new role.
