Lucinda Street will be closed between First Avenue (Iowa Highway 144) and Second Street between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. starting Wednesday, Oct. 22 as part of the Downtown Improvement Project, the Perry City Hall announced Tuesday.
Construction work by TK Concrete will affect parking on the north side of the Wells Fargo bank, the city said. Alternative parking will be available south of the bank in the Wells Fargo parking lot or the city parking lot.
The Wells Fargo’s drive-through will remain operational during construction, and all other businesses will operate as usual.
The Lucinda Street entrance to Casey’s will also be closed, and access will be available only on First Avenue (Iowa Highway 144).
Drivers and pedestrians are asked to exercise caution in the work area until the roadway is reopened.
