Jamison Fisher makes appearance in 1996 Appleby murder case

The man accused in the 1996 of an 11 year old girl from Moline made an appearance in Henry County Court in Cambridge this morning.

According to court documents, Jamison Fisher filed for a new judge because he claimed the first one suggested was prejudiced. The court went through two more judges before one was finally settled for the case.

Fisher was arraigned according to 1996 charges and penalties, as the alleged crime took place in 1996. The defense has until October 24 to file motions. The state will file responses and those must be on file by October 31.

Fisher has a motion hearing scheduled for Henry County Court on November 5 at 11:05 a.m.
