The premiere of the documentary “Forever Families,” which features World War II veterans and their family members from the Quad Cities area, was held Wednesday at The Last Picture House, Davenport, for a sold-out audience, a news release says.

The film spotlights a Quad City family’s five-decade search for their relative, as well as another family whose ancestor is recognized as a hero in Europe.

Produced by Metivier Media and hosted by Gary Metivier, the documentary was created in partnership with the Quad City Veterans Outreach Center. Starting Monday, Oct. 20, the documentary will be shown daily at 1 p.m. in the movie room in the Quad City Veterans Outreach Center, 4515 N. Fairmount St., Davenport.
