Runners braved the Park Apocalypse Zombie Run on Saturday at Grimes Farm. Their task was to complete the 5K while dodging the volunteer zombies spread along the course and holding on to their flag. If a zombie captured a runner’s flag, the runner was considered “infected.” After the 5K run was completed, zombies and runners sat down together and enjoyed a walking taco meal.
