     The Bedford Cross Country team closed out the regular season on Thursday, October 16th, at Mount Ayr with an eighth place finish.
The Ron Landphair Invitational hosted runners from Ankeny Christian, CAM, Clarke, Diagonal, East Union, Essex, Fremont Mills, Grand View Christian, Lamoni, Lenox, Martensdale-St. Marys, Maryville, Melcher-Dallas, and the host school.
     Kaleb Johnson claimed medalist honors as he placed 12th out of of 121 runners with a time of 18:48.24. Brett Meyer placed 68th with a time of 23:00.5, not far behind was Jobe Schuelke in 70th place with a time of 23:04.15. Wyatt Danielski placed 86th with a time of 24:10.28 and Jesse Bears rounded out the Bulldog team finishing in 100th place with a time of 26:43.97.
     Eli Johnson wheeled in a time of 24:02.79 for first place in his division.
     This week the Bulldogs will travel to Leon for the 1A state qualifying meet, good luck to the Bulldogs.
