The 8-Player number 10 Bedford Bulldogs finished off the regular season with a 73-0 win that demoralized the Demons. The Bulldogs defense came out and set the tone early after Kase Coleman did his thing by kicking the football through the back of the end zone. After the defense forced a three and out the Lamoni punter booted the ball to the Bedford seventeen yard line. Quentin Dalton caught it on the fly, sprinted to the Bulldog sideline behind key blocks from Hayden Riedel and John Deemer where he tiptoed to the sideline and then made one cut against the grain for a sixty-three yard touchdown and a 7-0 lead after the Coleman PAT with twelve minutes on the clock. After the opponent picked up a first down, Riedel and Lucas Minor provided pressure up the middle and brought down the quarterback.
The Bulldog defense forced another punt attempt this time the punter was met by pressure from Ashton Nally and Riedel where he was dragged down at the Demon fifteen yard line. Two plays later Nally sprinted around the edge untouched to the end zone for a 14-0 lead after the Coleman PAT. Coleman continued to boot the ball into the end zone with his third touchback.
The Demons then used five plays to move the ball to midfield where they faced a fourth and one. The defense turned into a brick wall and forced the Demons to surrender the ball to the Bulldogs at the Demon thirty-five yard line.
The Bulldogs needed one play as Nally took the handoff, made one cut inside of an Adam Swaney kick out block, cut back against the grain and stiff-armed a Demon defender to the ground before scampering down the sideline for a thirty-five yard touchdown. Dalton showed off his athleticism on the two point conversion making Demons miss tackles for a 22-0 lead with 2:46 left in the opening quarter. Like clockwork Coleman jolted the ball for another touchback.
