This episode focuses on a single case that involve a double homicide in Davenport in January of 2024, when police responded to a fire and on the 5200 block of North Division Street. They found the bodies of Amy Smith and Brian Goodwin, who had been shot.
Both defendants – Devon Braet and Adriana Blake – were sentenced to life in prison without parole. Both Sharon Wren and Linda Cook were in the courtroom at various times throughout the case.
