A Davenport animal clinic is collecting pet food for local shelters and rescue groups.
Care Animal Center, 1502 W. Kimberly Road, is hosting its 12th annual Furry Friends Pet Food Drive on Saturday, September 27 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. The family-friendly event includes face painting, vendors, a bounce house, food, raffle baskets and activities. Everyone who donates pet food receives an entry to win a raffle basket. Donations will be delivered directly to shelters and animal rescue organizations.
