Singer and Songwriter Bernadette Morris will be performing at College Square Park in Cambridge on Friday, August 8. Starting at 6:00p.m. there will be a potluck and social hour and music will begin at 7:00p.m.
Bernadette Morris is a contemporary singer who combines Irish folk traditions with a modern edge. She is from County Tyrone in Northern Ireland and writes her own music. She sings in both English and Irish and embraces Celtic roots, contemporary folk, and acoustic pop. Her album ‘All the Ways You Wander’ was produced by Seán Óg Graham and received wide acclaim. She has toured at festivals such as Celtic Connections in Glasgow and Milwaukee Irish fest.
The concert will be free with a suggested $20-$30 donation. It is for all ages and guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for seating. All proceeds will go toward supporting the artists. Guests looking to participate in the potluck are encouraged to bring a dish to share and plates, bowls, silverware, and napkins.
