The Davenport Police Association invites the community to join us for the annual Cops and Cones Ice Cream Social at Vander Veer Botanical Park on Tuesday, Aug. 12, from 6-8 p.m., a news release says.
This family-friendly event will be held near the playground and offers an opportunity to enjoy a free single-dip Whitey’s Ice Cream cone while connecting with your Davenport Police Officers.
“Cops and Cones is a chance for us to build genuine connections with our community outside of emergency calls,” said Davenport Police Association President Corporal Brittany Berger. “We’re excited to welcome everyone to Vander Veer Botanical Park for a fun and relaxed evening together.”
