Viola Boyz Demo Promotors doubles down on the Demolition Derby action with both the Rock Island County Fair and the Clinton County Fair in Dewitt this weekend.
At 6 p.m. Saturday July 19, drivers will put on a show at the Rock Island County Fair Demolition Derby track where several classes of crashing and bashing action will be held on the midfield track in front of the grandstand.
“Buzzy” Randy Buzard will be the emcee for the event. Buzard has a long-standing fan base after previously announcing events at the Speedway and also Viola Boyz Demolition Derby events.
At 6 p.m. Sunday, July 20, Midwest Demolition Derby Driving action will be showcased at the Clinton County Fair in Dewitt. The bullring will be action packed with multiple classes of demolition derby fighting over purse money, trophies and points.
Kids ages 3-10 are invited to participate in the power wheel demolition derby before both events. Participants must supply their own power wheel, wear a helmet and no automotive batteries can be used. Trophies will be awarded to the participants.
Pits open three hours before each show for registration, inspection and pit pass purchases. Pit passes are $30. Grandstand seating admission pricing for both events can be found on the fair pages: Rock Island County Fair and Clinton County Fair. Food and beverages are available at both events. Pit Stop Shop Towing and Repair is the sponsor of the 2025 Viola Boyz Demolition Derby Points Series.
