IOWA (Iowa Media Wire) — Another candidate has thrown his hat into the race for Iowa’s Fourth Congressional District seat.
Iowa State Representative Matt Windschitl announced on his Facebook page that he is vying for that seat in Congress. The republican candidate represents District 15, which covers Harrison County and parts of Pottawattamie County.
Windschitl is currently the Iowa House Majority leader, and has been in the State House since he was elected in 2006.
The only other candidate in the race so far is Sioux City businessman Chris McGowan. Meanwhile, State Senator Lynn Evans launched an exploratory committee as he considers a run for the seat.
