Racing at the East Moline Speedway has ended early this season.
A post on the Speedway’s Facebook page says the decision comes from a variety of factors.
“I deeply regret to inform all the racers, supportive fans and sponsors that the East Moline Speedway 2025 season has come to an early end. It is not financially feasible to continue on due to the low car counts, low attendance and unfulfilled promised community financial support. We could not have had the 2025 season at all without the hard work and dedication from our staff and volunteers. Especially the ones that taught me so much. Jeff and Randy, you put together a great racing surface, thank you. Bret, your willingness to guide me through the IMCA process is greatly appreciated.”
