With just a few hours left in March, we have a preliminary report for the final climate stats this month.
The average temperature was 45.3° and that’s more than 5° above normal. This was the a tie for the 7th warmest March ever. Strangely enough, it tied last year for that mark!
Rain was below normal and snow was way below normal. We only picked up 1.5″ of snow and normal for March is 4.4″.
This continues our trek toward the least snowy season ever. If we don’t get another inch and a half, this will be the LEAST SNOW we’ve ever picked up in one season in the Quad Cities!
