A total of 133 Buena Vista County residents voted early in-person yesterday (Wed) for the upcoming general election, according to Commissioner of Election Sue Lloyd.

Wednesday was the first day for early in-person voting in Iowa. A reminder that BV County voters can vote early in-person at the Auditor’s Office at 317 East 5th Street in Storm Lake Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm through November 4th. A photo ID is required if you plan to vote in-person at the County Auditor’s Office or at a precinct on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5th. Absentee voting can be done on Saturday, November 2nd at the BV Auditor’s Office from 9am to 5pm.

Wednesday was also the first day that absentee ballots could be mailed out to those who requested one. Lloyd says they mailed out 519 ballots on Wednesday.
