SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — The Siouxland Community Foundation has launched its seventh annual Siouxland Big Give campaign.
The fundraiser started at midnight on Oct. 1, and for 24 hours, people are able to donate to charities and nonprofits of their own choice. This year’s goal is to raise $200,000 in total donations.
People can chose from about 100 different organizations to donate to, and all of the money that is donated stays local.
“It’s just a way to get out our needs, get out what every organizations does for the public and a way to get to know new people, new people in other organizations and all the places that help us with the Big Give” Ashley Mareau with The Gospel Mission said.
The fundraiser goes until midnight tonight. Anyone interested in donating can do so by clicking here.
