
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — A special exhibit will be making its way to the Mid America Museum of Aviation and Transportation in Sioux City.
The exhibit, the Iowa Memorial Wall, honors fallen Iowan heroes from the Afghanistan and Iraq conflicts. The photo memorial includes their military rank and personal pictures of each fallen soldier.
/>“We want to remember these soldiers that sacrificed the ultimate, their lives, for our country, and we want to keep that memory going,” wall co-creator Dan Williams said.
The Iowa Memorial Wall will open starting on Thursday, Sep. 5 and will remain through Sep. 24. Admission is free with the museum open Monday through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
