A Cedar Rapids woman was reportedly found with drug paraphernalia and a stolen weapon in her car while at a park near Solon.
A DNR officer reports seeing an open container and a marijuana grinder inside a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe parked at Lake MacBride State Park just after 7:00 Saturday night. A search of the vehicle reportedly turned up more open containers, drug paraphernalia, a scale with white powder on it, and a gun that was later determined to be stolen.
The vehicle’s owner, 30-year-old Tori Parker of Estroy Drive NE, was arrested and charged with Person Ineligible to Carry Dangerous Weapons, Trafficking in Stolen Weapons, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Having an Open Container of Alcohol in a Vehicle. If convicted on all charges, she faces a maximum of over six years in prison.
