STORM LAKE, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — The Storm Lake Public Library announced on Tuesday that the facility will be closed for a few days to convert the building to LED lighting.

According to a release, the library will be closed from July 17 to 26 as part of the City of Storm Lakes’ effort to convert several public buildings to LED lighting.

The release states that converting these buildings to LED lighting helps efficiency and saves energy. This project also provides library patrons with more reader-friendly lighting.
