A Washington man allegedly upset after being told he couldn’t live at a woman’s new apartment is accused of assaulting her.

The incident occurred at the Tiffin apartment of the victim Wednesday afternoon.  According to the arrest report, 26-year-old Barron Cunningham became angry when the woman told him he couldn’t live with her at the new apartment.  When she said she was going to call 911, he allegedly grabbed the phone from the victim’s hands and threw it beside the refrigerator where she couldn’t reach it. Cunningham’s actions reportedly caused her pain and left red marks.

The woman tried to leave the scene several times but Cunningham reportedly blocked her.  He also allegedly put his hands on her neck and caused two small bruises on the bottom of her chin.
