The City of Storm Lake will be completing critical work to the sanitary sewer infrastructure in Scout Park and the sewer piping downstream.

According to a news release from the city, a temporary piping system needs to be installed to ensure continued sewer service. While the system is in place, small areas of several roads will be closed to allow the pipe to cross including Grand Avenue, College Avenue, Otsego Street, and the intersection of Ontario Street and 3rd Street. Ramps across the piping will allow pedestrian traffic to cross at the seven closure points.
