SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — Saturday in the Park officials have made a few last-minute announcements ahead of the music festival on Saturday.

During the press conference, Dave Bernstein announced that donations going to the Red Cross are going to be taken at the gates into Grandview Park. Additionally, Berstein announced that Saturday in the Park will be matching donations raised during the festival. They are looking for cash donations only.

Bernstein also gave a few general reminders such as the shuttle service to Grandview Park that will be available at the Tyson Events Center parking lot. Those who take Uber or Lyft or similar services will be dropped off at a designated location at 24th and Pierce Street, Berstein said. This location will also be a designated pickup location. This is to help alleviate traffic congestion.

He also gave a brief reminder that coolers and pets are not allowed into the festival.

Berstein also announced that in order to get into the festival, attendees will need to pass through magnetometers on the way into the park. Bernstein said they are high-speed mags so guests should not have to empty their pockets prior. Bags are subject to search, however.
