ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — The Community Foundation of Lyon has activated the Disaster Recovery Fund to support recovery efforts for those impacted by the flooring in Lyon County.

According to a press release, the Disaster Recovery Fund aims to provide financial resources to address recovery needs in the Lyon County area. The fund will support local organizations and non-profits directly assisting individuals and families affected by the flooding.

Community donations will enable non-profit organizations and public agencies that meet grant criteria to apply for grants to support relief and recovery efforts. Applications will be accepted and processed on a rolling basis until further notice. The grant application will be available under “Lyon County”, here.
