SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — Members of Sioux City Fire Rescue are working to help evacuate the town of Rock Valley Saturday.

The Sioux City Fire Rescue said that 13 team members of the Urban Search and rescue team deployed to Rock Valley early Saturday with multiple boats.

The department said that they have so far rescued many people and animals stranded in floodwaters.
