SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — Two people were shot at 1008 Key Club early Sunday morning according to police.
The Sioux City Police Department said that the shooting happened at around 1:40 a.m. in the outdoor section of 1008 Key Club on 4th Street.
When officials arrived at the scene, they found two victims with gunshot wounds. Officials said that medical service was immediately dispatched and the victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment of critical injuries.
A third victim arrived at a local hospital later in the morning with a non-life-threatening injury, according to police. They did not say if this victim was shot, but said the injury was sustained during the shooting.
Police said that the suspect fled the scene after firing several rounds.
Police believe that the incident was targeted and said there is no threat to the public.
Officials are continuing to investigate the incident and no further information is planned for release at this time, police said.
