SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — The Rotary Club of Sioux City held a surprise award ceremony Monday for a leader in the Siouxland community.
Terri Rexius was given the honor. She’s the daughter of the late Bob Roe, who ran a popular family-friendly sports bar in Siouxland for many years.
The club highlighted what Rexius’ work means to the people in Siouxland.
“It feels good in a way, representing my father,” she said. “I’d like to continue to carry on his legacy of giving in the community.”
