An Adel man turned himself in Wednesday in connection with a May incident in which he allegedly smashed the front window of an Adel liquor and vape store with a rock.

Dakota Steven Kever, 23, of 24 River Vista Dr., Adel, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief.

The incident occurred May 26 about 1:45 a.m. outside a liquor and vape store in the 900 block of Court Street in Adel, where surveillance video allegedly showed that Kever did “grab the large rock from the flower bed next to the door and threw it through the window, shattering it,” according to court records.
