SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — The Sioux City RE/MAX City Centre will be hosting a special movie event to benefit the victims of the recent floods in our community.
The family-friendly event will feature a screening of the films Barbie and Return of the Jedi. All the proceeds will go towards supporting those affected by the floods.
“We have locations in Sioux City, LeMars, and Okoboji. Our family of agents at RE/MAX Experience and RE/MAX Lakes Realty not only have friends, family, and clients that have been affected by the tragic events of the last week but have also been personally affected.” Jeff Carlson, broker/owner of RE/MAX Experience. ” It has been horrific to witness. Our team wanted to do our part in supporting the communities we love so much. We hope to sell out these movie showings at the City Centre this Sunday to raise as many funds as possible, along with gathering much-needed items for flood victims as we can. Free-will donations will also be accepted on-site.”
The movie event will be held on June 30. Barbie will be shown at 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m., with Star Wars: Return of the Jedi following at 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
