8 Beach Advisories In Place This Weekend

DES MOINES, Iowa—The Iowa Environmental Council has released the weekly Water Watch report. The number of E.coli advisories is up to eight for state beaches. There are four city and county beaches that exceed E.coli advisory levels. The data from testing is collected by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.

There are 8 beach advisories for the week of 6/21

Note: Saylorville’s Oak Grove Beach is still closed due to high water. Monitoring has been suspended for the 2024 season at Lake Keomah due to renovation activities.
