SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — Sioux City’s city council voted yes on several agenda items at Monday night’s meeting.
Council members said yes to Chick-fil-A, Inc.’s proposal to buy a part of a vacated ally located adjacent to 800 and 820 Hamilton Boulevard. City officials have been working with the company to build a new restaurant located at Wesley Parkway and Hamilton Boulevard.
The council also voted yes to authorize submitting a high-quality jobs application. It will go to the Iowa Economic Development Authority. That will allow Cargill, Incorporated to expand rail access and other facilities at its 1016 Clark Street location.
