The disturbance in question apparently involved the victim in the hotel’s parking lot “yelling and screaming.” After a vehicle alarm went off, Robbins went outside of his apartment nearby to see what was happening. The two spoke, and then Robbins went back inside and locked his door.

According to court documents, the victim then banged on the door. Robbins went back outside equipped with a pocket knife. The two got in an altercation, and Robbins allegedly stabbed the victim.

Robbins was charged with willful injury – causing serious injury, a class C felony. His next court appearance is scheduled for Friday, June 21 at 9 a.m.
