SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — Another new band has been announced for Saturday in the Park’s Main Stage lineup.
Tuff Roots, a reggae band from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, will be performing on the Main Stage July 6, according to the Saturday in the Park Facebook page. The group will look to provide “soulful rhythms, infectious beats, and positive vibes that will transport you straight to the islands.”
According to the SITP website, Tuff Roots was established in 2015 with each member bringing decades of musical experience to the group. Their first album titled “Planting Seeds” was released in 2018. Get to know more about the artists here.
Tuff Roots will join Andy Frasco & The U.N., Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs, Nikki Lane, Del Water Gap, Lonesome Creek, and headliner Bleachers performing at the Main Stage.
2024’s Saturday in the Park festival is set for July 6 at Grandview Park from noon until 10:30 p.m. Admission to the yearly music festival, founded in 1991, is free. Along with food vendors at Eats Street, the event will also see the return of Artist Alley and the Iowa Media Wire Kid’s Zone.
