No injuries were reported Thursday when a truck and trailer hit an unoccupied vehicle.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 11:53 a.m., a 2022 Western Star semi with a trailer attached, driven by Jesse T. Rhoades, 39, of Ackworth, was eastbound in the 100 block of West Mills Street and made a right-hand turn into an alley. When the semi turned, the rear driver’s side of the trailer struck a 2015 Ford F150, legally parked, diagonally, in front of a business.
Rhoades told police he made a wide turn and his trailer must have swung around, causing the collision.
Damage to the semi was estimated at $200, damage to the truck was estimated at $2,500.

No injuries were reported Thursday when a car stuck a utility pole in Creston.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 2:48 p.m., a 1993 Toyota Corolla, driven by Alex T. Reno, 15, of Creston, was eastbound on Russell Street, when for an unknown reason, it left the roadway. After leaving the roadway, the Corolla struck a utility pole a few feet from the road.
Damage to the Corolla was estimated at $2,000. No damage was listed to the utility pole.
