The Webster City Clean-up/Drop-Off event is June 7 and 8 in the Webster City Middle School parking lot, 1101 Des Moines Street, Webster City.
This event is for Webster City residents only.
On Friday, June 7, the event is from noon until 4 p.m. On Saturday, June 8, the event is from 8 a.m. until noon.
“The purpose of this event is to clean up Webster City and allow residents to dispose of items that cannot be placed in the regular garbage or be recycled,” a media release from the city states. “The city encourages residents to take full advantage of no fee clean up days. Now is the perfect time to get rid of junk and spruce up around your property.”
This clean up day will accept the following: Household furniture, grills/lawn furniture, scrap metal items, exercise equipment/bicycles, appliances, microwaves, mattresses/box springs, carpet pieces, computer towers, box fans/ceiling fans, and miscellaneous household items.
