SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — A Sioux City man has died after a motorcycle accident Tuesday evening, officials say.
According to the Sioux City Police Department, the victim, a 65-year-old man, was driving a 1998 Harley Davidson north on Ingleside Avenue at about 6:18 p.m. on June 4. The motorcycle was apparently going too fast to navigate a curve, causing it to go off the road and hit a vehicle parked in a driveway.
The driver, whose name was not disclosed, was taken to a hospital with “life-threatening injuries,” according to the police. The man was later declared dead at the hospital.
The incident is still under investigation.
