SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Iowa Media Wire) — The votes are in and the winner of the Woodbury County Board of Supervisors for District 3 primary election has been announced.

According to unofficial election results, Mark Nelson had the majority of votes at 2,324. Since there are no democratic candidates for this seat, Nelson will be the presumptive winner during the November General Election unless a candidate decides to present a write-in campaign.

The seat is currently occupied by candidate Mark Nelson, who was appointed to the position after

Rocky De Witt left to serve as a state senator. Some of Nelson’s responsibilities include serving on the LEC Authority.
