A check was presented to the local branch of Upper Des Moines Opportunity at today’s (Mon) Storm Lake City Council meeting from money raised during Storm Lake Proud Month in May.

Storm Lake Mayor Mike Porsch thanked Upper Des Moines Opportunity for the service they provide, and also thanked the city workers that helped handle all of the trash, as well as everyone who donated five dollars to get rid of their unwanted items.
