BOONE, Iowa—The Ericson Public Library Summer Reading Kick Off Carnival will be held at the library Monday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Because of the event, the 700 block of 7th Street, will be closed to traffic from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. There is also expected to be quite a bit of pedestrian traffic in and around the library. There will be nearly 50 partners taking part in the event. Information on taking part in the Summer Reading Program for children, tweens and teens, and adults can be found on the Ericson Public Library website
